American July 2026

Good Luck .I believe it’s standard ADX ,draw airport diagram ,what is advisory circular and Airworthiness Directive.Did they give you just one weeks notice for interview? Which days could you choose from ?
I was notified on Friday and could choose Aug 10 - 13

I understand it’s ADX type questions and I’ve been studying for a while

I was wondering if they score your test before moving on to the next round that same day.

Or if he had to pass it at a certain percent before moving on that same day

Not sure how they do it.But yes, there is group interview with scenarios.I don’t know anyone who has been called in this round but these questions were asked last year.

You just have to follow the instructions in the emails, and go prepared for whatever they may throw your way. People can tell you for days how it might go, and the ones who have been around a while will tell you it changes often, too.

Your right, they said more instructions will come in the email after I accepted the interview date.

I interviewed 5 years ago so take this with a grain of salt. You come in early and everyone tested together. After the time limit is up for the exam they then split you up into groups for the interviews. You are told the time of your interview and who you would be interviewing with. You wait around for your interview time, conduct the interview and then you go home. From my understanding they grade the tests after panel interviews are completed and they will use those test results if they need help determine job offers / pool candidates / or rejections for some interviewees.

I received an interview invite last Friday, and filled out the travel form for travel, but haven’t received any flt info yet. The phone number they gave for the Recruiting Team has been decommissioned. No response from emails. Anyone have a good way to connect with them? Thanks!

What percentage of American’s last couple of classes have only 135 experience? I’m not saying it’s impossible to go from 135 to 121 Major, but it’s a hard sell that honestly has far worse returns out of any track to the Majors. At my shop there were less than 4 135 only candidates out of the past 160 post COVID hires.

The derision of the 135 route isn't that it’s impossible, it just relies on you being the outlier which just isn’t realistic for most people.
The only time AA hired 135 was post COVID when they basically took anyone with a license and a pulse
