Now I'm all confused. I take it PCL has gone on hiatus due to a need for a blackout - ie laying low with the scum surfing the net. That sucks.
Who's the d-bag that reported him? I think this was an union event, so I really hope it wasn't a fellow pilot. If so I'm joining the goon squad.
I'm betting management staked out the event to see if they could bust anyone. I know our management does that.
Yup....Take hostages during negotiations. Certainly not new. Would almost be comical if it weren't for the poor F/O having to deal with the fallout.
Not sure if we'll see him back here again. . .
Just like last time, right??![]()
there needs to be goons in unions again. break people in half. that gets points across and others to keep their mouths shut!
Precisely the reason I want nothing to do with a Union. You should be careful in what you want-you'll end up with an even slimier union boss and your legs will be the one that gets broke.
Besides, who goes to a circus in their uniform? More to this story...
It was not a circus in the traditional sense (ala Barnum & Bailey) but it was Family Awareness Circus Event. I'm guessing it was some sort of union sponsored activity, which is why the NPA is so fired up about it.
On an aside, it is general knowledge over there that if you resign to turn your two-week notice into the Base Administrator. Because, if you hand it in to the Chief Pilot then he will fire you on the spot. That happened a few times while I was there.
Right, Right. Sounds like the guy wore the uniform on purpose. Kind of like the milfs that go to the gym and stand around. They're there to work out (wink, wink) not to find a new man now that the divorce is final.
So airline pilots can't wear their uniforms to official union functions?
At least in your world? Is that your opinion?
There goes informational picketing and LEC/MEC meetings and national conventions. Nevertheless, whatever your personal opinion is, it's quite clear that AirTran Management have this policy in place to minimize the work group's ability to have any amount of visibility outside of the "work place."
what is your backround with unions? have you always been in mgmt?Precisely the reason I want nothing to do with a Union. You should be careful in what you want-you'll end up with an even slimier union boss and your legs will be the one that gets broke.
