I was wondering if there was a nickname for the 150/152.

The rat trap 152s (they were a matched pair and almost a complete working airplane between them) I learned to fly in were often referred to as Thing With Fouled Mag 1 and Thing With Fouled Mag 2.

Ive heard people call Embraer "Jungle Jets."
Back in the days of the DC-9-30, we called it the "Dirty Thirty"

In my FA days, we named all of our individual jets based on their personalities. (Yes, our planes have personalities) We had "Christine" (Possessed) "Striker" (Had a bad birstrike on her first flight.) "Frosty". (Famous for a water leak incident where several hundreds pounds of ice accumulated in the seldom-used aft cargo bin) And of course, lets not forget "Old Smokey", the one that a lunatic FA set fire to over FAR a couple years ago. The FA's had one we liked to call "Jon," be cause the aft lav door was always written up but never fixed. There was also "Problem Child." because she was always acting up to get attention. (MX would come out and we couldnt recreate the problem!) Im pretty ure we had a nickname for all 36 of them. The MX logs all had a paper lapel on them and someone would write the planes name on them with a little picture. Whoever did them should have their own comic strip.

Sadly, most of our original pilot group is on to bigger and better things so you dont hear those nicknames much anymore. :( *sighmemories*
