yeah our instructors said the same thing. I wasn't the only one in my class to get it but we are CTI... no clue

Who knows, maybe the phase II (Tower Cab/Radar training) do get night pay, I do not know, all I know is that there is no night pay on my paycheck lol.

I'm also a veteran and NOT a controller. Like chichi said, VRA is ONLY for veteran controllers. Non-controllers get veteran's preference points only, no pay raise.

Anyone know how the Veteran's pref. points are applied? For example, +10 added to your ATSAT score etc. Thanks.

It's not +10 to your AT-SAT score... all of our applications are converted into some sort of point system and your 10 points are added to that.
