That simply is not the case at Envoy, nor would it have been if they voted it in. You would have seen pilots capped out at the lower ceiling, making less than pilots before them.
That's not the same thing. For it to be a B scale, the two scales have to exist simultaneously. So, at any point in the future, would there be pilots from the original scale getting paid original scale rates while there are also pilots hired under the new scale getting paid the new rates? My understanding is that that never would take place, because everyone on the original scale would have long since upgraded.

Yes, we may be stagnant, we may be shrinking, our fleet may be given away piece by piece, but thank goodness that I won't be capped at 4th year pay for that hypothetical 9/11. If Envoy is still here, I know I'll be really happy about that extra $2.92/hr.
