AAG "Special Investor Update" Tomorrow, 11 July

67% with 93% voting is the number I saw. That's hardly 2 to 1.

I'm certainly not a math wiz, but I'm pretty sure 2/3 is the very definition of 2 to 1.

I agree that AS had no scope protection before and AAG was free to do whatever they wanted. I think that is all the more reason to push for scope this time around. But that's just me and I'm not on the lower end of the legacy 737 payscale so my priorities might be a bit different.


Scope is a tough nut to crack. You can't strike over it. It's not tangible, so most of your members don't really understand it or value it. It usually doesn't score highly in polling. Management usually wants something really big in return for concessions on it. Etc.

I've always been a bit of a scope hawk. I would give up quite a bit to secure strong scope. But I'm not most pilots.
