Was also told selectees should be receiving more info as the date approaches. Feb 7 is the start date.

Exactly.. Ain't gonna put in my 2 weeks until I get an actual start date even if it means burning a bridge at my current airline.

SWA has sent the new hire memo with their bio’s to the whole dispatch group. Hopefully the new hires have been sent official offers by now.

Remember - 2 weeks notice is not a requirement anywhere. It is a courtesy.

You might even get lucky and have them pay you your last two weeks without having to work them once you put in your notice. It's rare, but it did happen to me once.

SWA sent out official job offers around January 7, so about month before the start date.

Word on the street is the April class is a go ahead but the size and exact time is still TBD.
