Ouch. How many displacements are you looking at?

Don't get to psyched on training getting completely cleaned out. A lot of those guys were already going to MSP for LOFTs, etc. Being in the training department is a bragging point for some guys. Don't be surprised to see them commuting up to MSP to keep it.

It is DISGUSTING the union is allowing these guys to continue to play the games they are playing. Should have been stopped LOOOONG ago.

Been waiting for this. People can carry on about how its a waste money etc but I can't even begin to describe how happy I am that basically all of scheduling is about to be replaced. I can't imagine any of them relocate and I'm pretty sick of dealing with them. I can't wait until training's house is completely cleaned out too. I've never had any UNSATs but I cannot stand going down there and doing the dance around the NMFC's games of look how much more I know than you about useless stuff. Oh and that's after you deal with hotels, gate agents, and training scheduling messing up your deadhead etc.

I firmly believe a new SOC in Minneapolis should make everyone's life just a little bit easier once the transition is complete.

Time to forget Memphis even exists! Next step forget Pinnacle even exists!

Very well said.

There were a good few people, BUT, look at the payroll issues that occurred over the last year (once again the union failed miserably to do anything to fix the problem). I remember my Chief Pilot telling me that 'they (payroll/crewpay) won't even answer my calls'. Completely inexcusable. The good ones in MEM will be able to find jobs and will be asked to transfer, but closing up and moving to MSP will help the pilots and company long term grow from this disgusting mismanagement we have seen in MEM.

That's crazy, that's like delta shutting down Atlanta or Alaska pulling out of Seattle.
Or Boeing moving its headquarters...oh, right.

Or Airways leaving PIT or American leaving RDU (or STL) or Delta leaving DFW.

It happens. "Fortress" hubs close all the time.
With respect to Saint Louis, I sort of think that one was inevitable. The Double-Ace still considers STL to be (1) the last vestige of Teeny Weeny Airlines and (2) an irritant.

Aren't you the HFMIC at PALPA? Why didn't YOU stop it?

No I'm not the HFMIC at PCL ALPA.

So why don't you get your facts straight before you try throwing grenades there tough guy.

I am factually correct. I said "aren't you" as in a question. I didn't say "your are" as in a statement of fact.

You guys just let me know if you need a tape measure. FYI, the guys on the forums that need to use one seem to prefer metric.

I never said I was "all knowing" but there are many things aviation related in which I am more knowledgeable than you.

Give it a rest...Regardless of the message content it's in the delivery. And quite frankly, your delivery leaves a lot to be desired lately. If you can't play nice in the sandbox move along.....

Seriously, how could you cut bait and run to another carrier in a time like this!. It's all your fault. Get out of bed with the cre8r's. (Sarcasm)

Looks like it will be an interesting ride, wonder how many will simply walk when displaced?
