Joint Negotiating Committee Update – December 17, 2010 1500 ET
The JNC is pleased to announce that we have reached a tentative agreement with management on a joint collective bargaining agreement for our three pilot groups! We believe the agreement is an industry-leading pilot contract that simultaneously allows our combined company to remain competitive in the emerging industry of large regional carriers.
The tentative agreement contains significant improvements in all of the cornerstone areas of the contract: job security, compensation, benefits and quality of life provisions. We are in the process of putting together a summary document of the agreement and will distribute that document to the pilot group as soon as possible.
The JNC will continue to work with management on an implementation letter of agreement and reviewing the full language of the agreement. This process will continue over the next couple weeks due to the holiday. Per the Process agreement, there must be a full language agreement for presentation to the three MECs and all parties have agreed to expedite the final review process to complete the full language agreement.
We will continue to keep you updated on our work.
Our Unity is Our Strength!
