Joint Negotiating Committee Update – December 17, 2010 1500 ET

The JNC is pleased to announce that we have reached a tentative agreement with management on a joint collective bargaining agreement for our three pilot groups! We believe the agreement is an industry-leading pilot contract that simultaneously allows our combined company to remain competitive in the emerging industry of large regional carriers.

The tentative agreement contains significant improvements in all of the cornerstone areas of the contract: job security, compensation, benefits and quality of life provisions. We are in the process of putting together a summary document of the agreement and will distribute that document to the pilot group as soon as possible.

The JNC will continue to work with management on an implementation letter of agreement and reviewing the full language of the agreement. This process will continue over the next couple weeks due to the holiday. Per the Process agreement, there must be a full language agreement for presentation to the three MECs and all parties have agreed to expedite the final review process to complete the full language agreement.

We will continue to keep you updated on our work.

Our Unity is Our Strength!

Will there be a conference call about the details? This is great news!

Everything that everyone knows is in the email. More details are to follow. Im sure its crazy as hell right now, but they wanted to at least let the pilot group know that its done.

It would most certainly be interesting to see if it is an "industry leading" contract. Maybe I should go to Colgan. Haha

Congrats to the collective Pinnacle Holdings Pilot Groups! You've all worked like hell and waited a long time to see something like this come to fruition. Bravo!

I hope it's a worthwhile step forward in recognizing the sacrifices and contributions you all make the success of your companies. Cheers!

Our dispatch contract has a lot of me too clauses with the pilot aggrement. I am very interested to see what happens with this.

Our FA's have mee too clauses in their contract as well. I wonder if they apply since this contract is with PNCL and not with CJC. Will be interesting to see how it all shakes out.

Thanks JNC members for giving up your lives to get this done!!

Have you ever actually read that clause? I havent, even though alot of people believe its in there.

During their last election, one of the FAs running for president passed out a fact sheet about their current contract, and it said "We do not have a me too clause, like everyone believes."

So I dont know who to believe.

Man o Man, they should have voted in the AFA...

On another note, most of our FA's don't know what is in their contract. I can guarantee you, our pilots will know they contract much better than the FOM, CFM. We'll know that sh** inside/out and backwards. I'm sure everyone will have a copy right there in their jeps!

I keep a copy of our FA's contract in my bag. It's come in handy more than once when they had no clue what the company could/couldn't do to them, and me in turn as it made us legal or not to go once or twice.

Quite interested to see what the industry leading TA contains. I hope it's as good as all the hype. I'd be more than happy to eat crow about it not getting done.

hopefully your signature will no longer apply!

 Thanks to all our reps for the hard work and dedication. Colgan and Industry Leading never have been together in the same sentence. I hope it's true.
