When they first started stretching the CRJ, I saw a photo-shop of the up and coming CRJ-1,000,000. I think it was on here, actually. Anyone have that handy? So LOLOL!It never gets old.

No no, it was a joke when they announced this thing. It was a photo shop of this but at least 4 times longer with the same engines and wings...this is the real thing...

My only real memory of flying on a "Stretch 8" was a UAL jet in the late 70s...I was just a tot, probably rooting around on the floor somewhere, but we were in some turbulence of some sort. We were seated in the very back, so I had a view up the aisle all the way to the front.
I remember seeing the fuselage sway back and forth like this thing...it was kind of disturbing to me as a kiddo, but since my dad (a pilot) wasn't freaking about it, I figured it was all part of the Wonder of Human Flight.

I could care less where the engines are, truthfully, as long as there are vacuum toilets involved. And slats, because, well, slats.VACUUM FLUSH TOILETS?!
