30 King Air Pilots Needed, Immediately

@bunk22 What if you have the ATP multi in hand, but most of the time(85%) is Helo, the rest FW. No prior military, or clearance etc..?

Helo time is going to be the issue but maybe not a show stopper if you have the ATP ME in hand. We have a few guys like that, the no military is not an issue, it isn't a show stopper at all. The clearance may or may not be an issue.

Do you have any direct contacts email me

What I meant was that you just need to go directly to their website and apply for the job. They're hard up enough that having an internal email address isn't going to make a bit of difference. But overall, reading through various posts doesn't really motivate me to go out of my way to help you, if you get what I'm laying down.

Viking group has been filled for months.

Did you get a referral POC to MAG? I'd so contact the individual listed. If not Join PPW, contact the BE_350 recruiter and talk to them directly about L-3.

L-3 just dropped their hiring mins.

So I'm back and moving on to another job but MAG-D is working hard to get pilots, took some from L-3, offered $1000 a day for 45 days. L-3 is now paying $800 a day, my pay went up to $800.46 a day actually.

So before I leave the company, I will still turn in resumes...the company needs pilots bad but remember, must have ATP mins and a clearance helps. If you have less than that and/or helo hours, it won't happen.

Any idea if that pay bump applies to those of us who have accepted positions but haven't shown up on property yet?

My conditional came back in 48hrs and my full clearance was granted between 4-5months.

The caveat being this was before Manning, Snowden, and some other serious data breeches.

I've seen some wacky things go on with clearances so the best answer anyone can give you is: It depends.

Anyone have any insight as to how long a clearance might take to get?

I just went through the security clearance process for the first time last year. Keep in mind, this was me applying for DoD Secret.

I submitted my paperwork shortly after the DoD had shut down the system. I think there was 4-6 weeks where they weren't processing anything due to them revamping their process. Once back up and paperwork submitted, it took 10 days for my interim to come through then another 8 weeks to get the final Secret.

My application was straight forward though. I had only been out of the country once and was only there a week, I don't hold any foreign contacts, or have any arrests. So I think mine was fairly straight forward.

I'll contrast my story with one of an individual I work with. He applied before the system was shutdown. Traveled out of the country multiple times a year for weeks at a time, to some now questionable countries, and he waited almost 8 months just for his interim Secret. Still waiting on Final Secret.

So trying to nail down a time frame for how long it takes, depends wholly on your background.

Ok yeah, mine is pretty straightforward as well. Same story as you pretty much. So once you get the initial clearance you can start working right?

I should have clarified, my experience was not with this company. It wasn't for a position even similar to this. But it is in the aerospace industry, through the DoD.

I was able to start work with an Interim Secret. This job/contract may require a full to start.
