Every time I get that ACARS head I logoff and just use the FMS. The keyboard is so annoying to use.

I...I think that IS their FMS. I dunno, my airplane doesn't have it, and I was in Hono sunning myself (three minutes in the sun, three hours in the shade, don't want to burn) on the balcony while all of this went down.

Blythe tower.

Does Blythe have a tower? They barely have an airport. But they used to have a great campground right on the river, not sure if it's still there or if it is it's still as magnificent as it once was. Fond memories of the Blythe Marina.

No, I was kidding around. No planes based there, although it has 2 runways and 3 instrument approaches. Gets people using those. Generally our helo the only one there with the station being at the airport.

A few of us used to joke that we were going to buy a used fuel truck and set up hot pits there. It’s in a great spot to be able to dump out of the range between CAS vuls and top off and jump back into the fight. I imagine having no tenants would make it easier to get the appproval to do it with live stores on the planes.

It’s the stuff of the devil. Wife loves it. Been with her over a decade and not backing down.

Easy drop out of the 2507s indeed. Has a great BBQ place a few miles east of the airport too.
