You can also get a degree in whatever you want and minor in professional flight FWIW, however if you are gonna do that just finish up at NDSU and fly on the side :)

Hey folks, Is it possible to minor in flight at FIT or fly there while earning a degree in something not in the Aeronautics department?

I may not be an Aviation student there anyhow but if I am a Flight Minor, whatever..sometimes you have to do things you don't want to do :)

Well I just got my acceptance letter in the mail today!!!! Looks like I may be out there in the Fall, still need to wait for the other colleges to get back to me. I'll need an intramural ice hockey team to play on too haha.

Awesome shots! When I went to Seattle the hotel we stayed at was right near Lake Union so we would go for a walk on the lake and watch the planes fly in and out, pretty cool sight!

I think it's because Doctors have to go to medical school and lawyers have to go to law school. Pilot's don't have to go to Aviation University (granted they must go to pilot school ;)) My brother has a degree in Poly. Science and is in law school, he didn't have a degree in "Pre-law" Doctors...

It would be working on IR, Comm. etc not taking people flying because I haven't seen an FBO in the DC area that I can get to without driving since I won't have a car.
