UPDATE....just received this...

I sent you an email before this one saying that I have scheduled you for Thursday, November 20, 2008 to go to the Kansas City, MO PEPC. However per the informaiton I received in this email I have changed your PEPC attendance date to Friday, November 21, 2008

He is just saying that he has gotten his confirmation email, which I was glad to see without having to dig through hundreds of replies. I wish you wouldn't sit in front of your computer waiting for a chance to bash the next person that gives you the slightest reason to do so. It is a public forum, we deal with the good and the bad to get the information we want.
 
Wheres my email for the PEPC!!!! I responded immediately upon receiving the email for selection.....very frustarating....

Thank you for responding to our inquiry regarding your consideration for an air traffic control specialist position with the FAA.

Ifyou providedchanges to your personal information, we have updated our records and provided that information to Aviation Careers Division. However, you also need to update your information in ASAP.


Based on your response, we have reserved a place for you to attend the ATCS Pre-Employment Processing Center (PEPC) in Kansas City, MO on Monday, Nov. 17 2008. The PEPC will include your interview and, if you are tentatively selected, you will receive a Tentative Offer Letter providing specific information on your facility assignment, salary, etc. In addition, a security screening, medical evaluation, psychological evaluation, and drug testing will be completed.

All of these activities will take place during the day you selected (specify the date and day). Your start time will be provided in your confirmation email. Please be prepared for an all-day event. You will need to make arrangements in advance should you require overnight lodging. All travel costs incurred will be at your expense.

The next step in this process is for our Air Traffic Organization PEPC Coordinator to actually schedule your interview appointment. Within the next week, you will be notified of your appointment and sent all of the detailed information about the PEPC program including forms that must be completed prior to your arrival. If you have questions or concerns regarding your interview appointment, please contact BLOCKED NAME at ***************************

Ok, so here's a (stupid) question. Did you just reply to the sender of the PEPC invite, or did you send your PEPC preference to your HR rep?

Replied to the email. Not a stupid question SINCE the HR email said all communications should be made through him/her about the job to ensure we're communicated with accurately. Why start to make sense now? :)
