My First day was great! I woke up at 4 o'clock in a room at the holiday inn dulles. I sat around, smoked a cigarette and woke myself up to get on the 5 o'clock shuttle to the airport.
I missed the 5 o'clock shuttle, so went at 5:30.
United put me on an american airlines flight for 7:35, so I knew I would have weird questions to answer. I did.
I checked in and got through security....guess who got the random bag check and feel up(pat down)? ME!
I treated myself to french toast at max and ermas and waited for my plane. 3 hour trip in the middle seat to Dallas/Ft worth, and then a run through the airport to take an hour long trip to OKC.
Meanwhile, Charlene Sade contacted me, and instructed me to just get to the FAA security check in building. Apparently this doesn't happen very often. :rawk:
Since my luggage was still in DC, I had to redo the paperwork. I did all that, Got sworn in, very quickly, and then was escorted back to the security building to get my ID. I have to hand it to Charlene. She could not have been more helpful. (Ironically, I heard her take a call, and give the person the "I have your clearances, but we currently are not placing people in classes" speech. Been there!
After that, I went to the classroom, where everyone else was, and listened to the harassment and behave yourself policy speeches. We were then dismissed. I'm sure I missed a bunch of stuff. If it's important stuff, filling me in would be great if anyone could do that.
Otherwise, I will breath a sigh of relief, get something to eat, get a shower(finally), and go to bed. See ya at 7!
*Mid message update! The luggage is on the way! Do not under any circumstances fly United. Air Tran and Southwest are better AND cheaper.
