got an email from my HR rep Sept 9th is my class date!!! He said that my clearances are done and i just needed to confirm if i wanted that date!

AHHHHHH!!!! I wonder how they are doing all of that scheduling?? My HR rep needs to talk to yours and get me in there!! Was Sep 9 the date from your TOL??

Yeah, I PM'd My Flight Surgeon right after I got back from the PEPC about it. I just want to know one way or the other at this point. If my medical clears and I make it through, that'd be great, but still, I'd love it if they'd just tell me "Sorry, No Dice," so I could just move on. I've poured so much of myself into this over the past few months, it's getting to me :banghead:

I'm with ya man. keep up the good fight. Since I've sold about every toy I own in preparation, I've promised myself a new corvette if things don't work out.

Sometimes it seems like getting the folks around here to give you the details about what's going on is like pulling teeth.

I am terminal. But man u guys need to have a lil more patience. One day response time isn't too bad. I am not sure how frequently you guys look at this forum but I go to a lot of other forums that interest me more than this one so yea.


But I am sure you will get a response in good time. My response was not a FOL but my HR rep specifically told me that the class date thats next avaliable is Sept 8th through email. He asked if I wanted this date and I anxiously said YES! Again he said my clearances went through or at least enough to say that I have the job pretty much.

I also asked him when to expect a packet about housing and my FOL he said I should get it at the latest 2 weeks before classes start. I guess I am on my own if I want to secure my own housing earlier than 2 weeks prior lol :yar:

My FOL was also for the 21st of october. All my stuff was in with my HR rep i just had to call down and ask for a date apparently but i got told the same thing as sooner did, the 21st is the first available for terminal and you'll be getting an e-mail along with a letter for your FOL's. Then 2 weeks before your start date you will get a packet with all the information about OKC, getting there, staying there, leaving there.

Just got my FOL in the mail today was at the July 11th NYC PEPC. Fired up!

So they sent you something in the mail first?

Interesting that the FAA academy website with the class schedule has been down since last night.
Maybe they're updating it?

Avi8torGirl, I have Charlene Sade as well. It says she was supposed to return yesterday. When I try and call her, it says extension not available or something. Just curious if you get the same thing? Maybe I have the wrong number on the bottom of my TOL?

I am exactly the same as mdd, I am terminal and waiting for my FOL email for the 9/8 class that I was offered yesterday. For those of you complaining about wether people are terminal/enroute; my facility was in my sig, try searching that it would take 2 seconds to get the info.
