How long have you have known each other? How often do you talk to this person? Would that person recommend you for security clearance? Are you financially stable?Are you "all there"? ....and a few others I can't remember.
 
Not sure if this has been posted, but airnav.com is a useful site. You can search by airport using the ICAO abbreviation. Gives runway information, NOTAMS, SIDS/STARS, approach procedures, etc. I think it also has a link to the appropriate sectional chart.

I'm guessing people will start to hear stuff late next week.
It seems the avg wait has been around 20 days.

These forums really just aggravate the impatience.
After I took the ATSAT, I just forgot about ATC for many months (even thinking of different plans for my life). Luckily I didn't frequent these forums, otherwise those months would have been torturous.

Sounds like a lot of the HR folks are gone for the next few weeks.

I was referred to Vicki Caves and she told me that Brenda would be the one to contact me and schedule me for a class date.... No one doing her job I guess or at least not doing the class scheduling... who knows though :buck: I'm just keeping up beat and looking forward to academy day 1(whenever that might be)

You didn't get a tentative start date? They told me Aug. 18th, so I'm cautiously hopeful.
 
When did you get a tentative class date? Was it on your TOL? Mine didn't have one, was wondering if you called them or something.:insane:

At the very end of the PEPC I went back to the HR lady, and she gives me the option of 8/18 or 8/26.
Then she writes the date on your TOL (in handwriting, so the TOL printout does not actually have a date)

Again, only the terminal guys got OKC dates, but en-route was told to wait for information.
 
Only some of the terminal guys got dates. I was told that there were no scheduled classes with space and should expect to start in September/October.
 
Maggie told me that they were offering class dates for CTI graduates, because they don't have to go through the AT basic courses like off the street applicants due. CTI go straight into simulation training.

Im not so sure thats true. I went to the NYC PEPC 7/9 @10, and when i went into HR I was also given two class date options, I took 8/26 and she wrote that down on my TOL. ( Im not CTI, but I am Terminal )

My wife was initialy not offered a class date but they checked again and gave her a date. Her terminal is nearly half staffed (17cpc's in stead of a normal 25-30) that could have something to do with it as well....
