That rumor has been floating around, seems pretty pie in the sky. The version I heard has it as -800s.

It will fall apart without them, you know this!

I did poke my head into a P-8 once not too long ago, and the center console was definitely a bit different than the civilian NG. More radios and stuff because P-8 people are nerds.

Denial is probably the most powerful emotion. It creates some amazing stories. Rather that just acknowledging the truth. The NG line being brought back from the dustbin is more plausible than getting our MAX 10 orders now? The scary part is we need to get replacements from our highest cycle and time airframes the existing 700NGs. It’s also a ticking time bomb on the HAL side with the 717.

I never thought I’d be lock step with @Cherokee_Cruiser but here we are. I wouldn’t count on any growth for a few years. Not until the MAX 10 is certified or a suitable replacement is formally ordered with a delivery timetable.

There are 24 330-200 at 14 pilots per aircraft that’s 336 pilots.

There are 18 321s at 14 pilots per aircraft that’s 252 pilots.

Not saying we are going to furlough nearly 500 pilots but your numbers mean we aren’t going to grow until we get nearly 50 additional aircraft.

We got 8 gross this year I think.

I have no idea where you are getting your numbers from. It would be odd to staff an augmented 330 the same way you'd staff an un augmented 321.

The 330 is at 18 pilots per plane (429) and the 321 is at 15 pilots per plane (280). That doesn't include pilots held in excess (management, LOA, ALPA, Mil Leave, etc).

My only point is that parking all the airbii means a lot of churn
