Yup. 4 years ago the bottom number was 12xxx… today it’s almost 17xxx. Whatever the result ends up being, things are at least going a good direction now.

. I could see them doing purely for the pilot group, with the side benefit of being the mostest west coast.They used to have a huge SEA presence (I remember when N gates were all UAL). But I think CC is probably right, it’d be a tough sell to the DOJ.

I actually don't know what angle the flight deck banter would turn to if this actually happened. But I think whatever road it took would be quite amusing. For two different pilot groups. I'll be quite honest, I didn't really realize we still had a 3rd former pilot group. Those stories are way more interesting than the VX ones.

I think ANC-JFK or SEA-(Bahamas.....I have no idea what the identifier is) will soon take that title. S*** the ANC-SAN all nighter (I don't even know if it is, but I know it will be) is gonna be shorter but probably more brutal.

True. I just can't get interested in flying all night, and then making basically a spot landing. Or holding while they do the RWY 27 departures, landing RWY 9 game.
