UAL pilot gets revenge on the employee lot gate in Denver.

Clearly that was the first time he's ever swung an axe(ax).
I noticed the same.

Funny part, after he axed it 10 or 12 times the arm went up. Then the arm broke off almost hit the pilot on the head.

I wonder if he likes Huey Lewis and the News… Their early work was a little too new wave for my taste. But when Sports came out in '83, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. He's been compared to Elvis Costello, but I think Huey has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humor.

Sorry, but this is BS.

"Your posts on a private forum." It's private. Not company related. She expressed her opinion. So what? Where did we go from having a grown up conversation to "I'm gonna report this beaatch to the Chief Pilot and HR!"

This clearly didn't happen at work, so what gives?
Because there is nothing private on any social media platform. Period. I have seen this happen on our internal union forum, as well. It’s suppose to be private and for union members only, but it only takes one sour grape and that post makes it back to the ACP office.

Just don’t post anything on social media. I don’t understand why this is so hard for some folks.

As he posts on social media...
You get it. I think he does too. Me three.

See how marketing sucks us in and effs us?

Insidious, eh?

I mean, what are we gonna do? All just act by example, never get noticed, and hope that our exemplary behavior is noticed and emulated?

Unemployment rate at an all time low and the economy is humming along suprisingly well. But y'all keep raging on though.
Wow. Thats some next level, CC grade ability in missing the point. Well done sir. Well done.

Nah...I don't want to hear it. This is the new "Try That in a Small Town" to the GOP. They took this guy's song and politicized it. I say let them pull thrmselves up by their bootstraps.

True. However, you’ll never catch me posting anything racist, political or company specific that will come back to bite me in the ass.

That is what I meant, but yes, you are correct, this is a platform of the socials.

Victim of oppression, tho

Honestly I dig the song, I just don’t buy the “looking for a reason to be a victim” narrative. Maybe I’ve just financially privileged for so long I’m out of touch. 🤷‍♂️

What are you talking about?

Oliver is so brave. Obese people cheating welfare is obviously the root cause of what’s wrong with our country.

Or by their own jockstraps, as applicable.

Because we have many people in society who without social media ability of posting and likes, would commit suicide.

Could be an interesting social experiment to have it shut all down for an unspecified period of time. Be an interesting spectator sport.

If there’s UA captains who would commit suicide because they can’t post about how gay people are pedophiles…I guess as a very frequent United passenger I’d rather them not be United CA’s.

I’m guilty of using instagram, but I mainly just look at other JCer’s adventures and dog pictures. I did invite Derg over for a BBQ when he was passing though DTW, but he gave me the cold shoulder….

To your point, yes, that would be interesting to see. To be honest, I think we already know the results.

Heck there’s people from all walks of life, across the spectrum of employment, who are dependent on attention, “look at me!”, likes, subscribes, etc etc; who would go mentally nuts with no ability to exercise any of that. Sadly, even including people who grew up before the era of social media.

Here's the interesting thing. There are welfare programs out there that are designed to put people from where he's from in a better position in life. But he and people like him are so brainwashed about social programs being bad that they never take advantage of them.

I tell you what. How about cut welfare in just his town? No welfare and no taxes in his just his town. No tax revenue given to infrastructure, to pay the local police and fireman, no taxes to pay the teachers, no taxes for pell grants for prospective students...let's see how far his town goes.
