The last 747 rolled out of Everett tonight.

So what's that building going to be used for now?

Last time I was there it was mostly empty

It's the same factory as the other wide-bodies. Probably a 777x line if it ever gets certified.

I got to tour the Everett Plant back in 2018 (before covid shut down tours there). I believe it was 747-8 (we looked at one in work that was going to be delivered to UPS), 777X, 787 (the non-Charleston ones) and KC-46. I might be missing some. It’s a big building.

Thrust lever. As in 'autothrust'.

I think some jets call them throttles, but nothing errr serious. I guess if it's called autothrottles in the 747, amma get roasted.
They are thrust levers for the autothrottles on the 74…at least at my shop. ;)
 
I think maybe we just don't want to stop saying "condition levers", so we got this instead :D

(yes, I am aware that is an entirely different function)
