Serial # 1574 is the last one to be built.

Freighter version headed to Atlas sometime next year.

That's wild. My entire lifetime they have been rolling off. It is a little like rolling by MacAir/Boeing Bldg 42 at KSTL and seeing what was once the backdrop of all your childhood posters of fighter jets, now reduced to a sad heap of trash.
My Great Aunt worked for McDerglass and eventually Boeing in STL and would send me those posters all the time growing up. Fine memories and sad to see the last 747 rolling out. Kudos to those who got the type and will have the lasting memories of flying the Queen.

Why couldn’t it be the last Guppy rolling off the line instead!

Not in our lifetimes my friend. I will say that, unofficially, I have been privy to the MAX20 in a secret Renton hangar that I can't disclose the location of. What does that even mean? 2 kickstands.....one center, one aft. They got the engines wrong though, the poor new engineers mounted them backwards. That's ok though.....it is certified to FL500 and outer space. You just have to fly it for 7 hours before the CRZ page will show anything above 350.

Same here, when I was a kid my grandparents (moms side) worked for Douglas Aircraft in Long Beach ( before the McDonnell merger). There was never a shortage of aircraft posters in my bedroom. One of my favorites, the F-4, then and now.

Future site of Mythbusters 2.0

(Not really - I have no idea)

I am ok with this!
Wish it would come back.
(I know it don't)
((slightly sad))

The 777 is 30 years old.

That's 5 years older than the 747 was when it's "replacement" was being designed.

Sooooo, what's your point?

It's the same factory as the other wide-bodies. Probably a 777x line if it ever gets certified.

It'll get certified in 2024.... I mean 2025... 26? ok for SURE 27

At this rate it'll be electric powered....
