JetBlue hires violent felon as a pilot

If you think that probation counts as “serving time,” then we certainly aren’t ever going to agree.
I’m stating that probation is part of the SENTENCE and, in fact, it IS ”serving time” because there is an obligation to the court and to society for the crime(s) committed; not unlike the incarceration portion of the sentence.

“Probation is a type of criminal sentence that allows an offender to remain in the community (as opposed to being in jail). The judge makes decisions regarding probation, including conditions and consequences for violations”

If you think that probation counts as “serving time,” then we certainly aren’t ever going to agree.
And now the second thing……..

How would you know?
Because we see what you post. It may not be the real you, but your online persona is a horrible person. So, you’d be a horrible client for any professional. As many differences as Slumdog and I have, we could probably get along professionally to make money in real estate. You would be a nightmare and a liability, from what everybody sees of you.

As usual, you’re wrong. We gladly rent to anyone who has an eviction on their record…as long as they’ve paid their debt.

I try to imagine what it must be like to be such a heartless bastard that you revel in the thought of punishing someone even after they’ve served their time, but thankfully, I have enough empathy to not even be able to imagine that. I pity you.
I would suggest hiring some high level hackers to purge the it internetz then, because when you were doing videos still, there were pretty heinous stuff said towards renters… ‍

I’m actually not as left as you think, I just think that every CEO you seem to like(and try to model your business after) is an evil bastion of society and should be beaten to death…

Seriously Warren, are you that • stupid right now???? Whatever, he’s fat, will be good for heating oil… Jesus…

You beating off Tesla still, level 2 automation still, says everything I need to know about your head… CULT head

You need serious help.

Problem is, both justice and sentencing are NOT one uniform standard in the country. One guy for a certain crime in one area may get a whole lot less for a very similar crime elsewhere. There is no 100% uniform standard across the nation.

Take the affluenza kid who killed SEVERAL people and basically got off scot free, and as was seen later, without remorse. Yeah, I ain’t hiring him - for anything.

Thankfully you aren’t and likely never will be in a position to hire anyone.

And continuing my previous post’s train of thought, you know damn well there are PLENTY of hiring folks who wouldn’t hire Kyle Rittenhouse or Nick Sandman. You’re kidding yourself if you don’t think that’s the case.

Employers don’t have to give ANY reason why they didn’t select you. Could have 5 applicants for a job and they’ll choose “the best fit.” And just say sorry, we filled the position.

As hominem. Personal attack, attacking my character instead of the argument presented.

You didn’t make an argument.

Of course that’s the case, and it’s wrong.

Why would a large corporation want to bring on Rittenhouse and technically adopt his philosophical wagontrain of ridiculousness? Staffing is hard enough already without some of your best employees rage quitting in protest.

He'll surf the grift and live the rest of his life in hiding like George Floyd.

No reason not to hire sandman. He didn’t do anything except have a standoff with a stupid grin on his face. No violence of any sort. But I doubt sandman will be applying for many jobs anyway. Dude got paid!

But! But! Why are you judging a man who did his time in court and was found not guilty!

Just using slumdog’s logic.

And for the record, I think KR would make a good employee. As would Nick Sandman.

And there is no “philosophical wagontrain of ridiculousness” if a guy can do his job competently, safely.

What if Kyle decided to become a pilot? Got his certs/ratings, passed everything in flying colors first time through, excellent pilot, CFI, and his students praise his ability as a CFI.

Would YOU hire him? Show me on a doll where KR hurt you.

You wouldn’t hire him and you know it.

Sorry @SlumTodd_Millionaire , but you’re in La La land if you think employers aren’t considering past history, even after a guy has “done the time.”

I don’t think Kyle should have been there. I don’t think ANY of them should have been there. At least Kyle had some family/ties to Kenosha. But EVERY person he shot was in pure self defense. The jury got it right.

I’d have no problem working with NS or KR. But unlike slumdog’s dream world, it ain’t gonna happen.

You didn’t make an argument.

Of course that’s the case, and it’s wrong.

Yes, I literally made an argument. It was a counter to your “if they served the time, they should then be okay to get hired into companies.”

I said that might hold water IF there was some uniform standards for convictions and sentencing across all 50 states. But you don’t, so the results vary. So, it all boils down to perceptions. You and I know the jury got it right for Kyle. But no one is gonna hire him.
