Yeas, each and every video is done with a blessing and supervision and typically for a practical recruitment reason.
To be fair,he flew the hell out of it until he decided to point it towards the ground.

When I got here, most dudes I flew with were FOs for 8+ years, then the direct entry times were upon us. Then those who upgraded <2 years were either stuck in 2 years of reserve, or downgraded. Now, depending on base and equipment, the upgrades are 4-3.5 years. It'll be back to displacing anyone with 1k hrs into the left seat within 6 months if nothing changes. The circle of life.

I’m kind of surprised with his connections and notoriety he’s not at a mainline carrier by now.
Ummmm plenty of people pose outside of a sim after completing a checkride. Boomers do it all the time.

While Ive never done it for myself (and try to stay away from the camera anyways) Ive taken a few photos with captains who completed their last recurrent. This is one of the least cringe worthy things ole Swayne has "grammed".
