Exempts commercial operations but very few limitations. I've known folks that send a fax-email describing Spring-Summer ops and they get a big rubber stamp.

Most compatible gliders are EE and the FAA isn't that worried about about non-jets.

I saw the An-3 prototype 20+ years ago in person at Antonov. I think they just recently flew the thing, yaaay.
