Looks like a Beech Staggerwing from a video someone posted of the crash.
That’s sad, I’ve never seen a crappy Staggerwing. Every example I’ve seen has been meticulously restored and maintained. Probably one of the most beautiful airplanes ever put into production. I’ve met a lot of crappy people.

I located the crash site from the video.

The house is on a private airfield, and there is an An-2 at the south end of the strip in the Google Maps imagery.

AN-2 is a pretty big airplane, it might need two 331's. If we're going to do that let's just put one on each wing. Or we can put a 3350 on it...

According to wikipedia (so who knows) the stock engine is basically a 1000hp R-1820 Russkie photocopy. Pretty sure they can get significantly more than that out of a 331 without much difficulty.
