Another long night in the Gulfasaurus. I love the mood of these vintage cockpits all lit up at night

Is it an AC G-III?
This one is a DC G-III but they made it nice with the first generation EFIS. As much as I love flying the G-IV, for some reason on the III I prefer the DC system. It's a bit clunky but I think it gives you a lot more options if something were to go wrong over the ocean.

Y'know I've stared at this text box for a good bit, trying to get some context to why I appreciate these sunrises this week, but.

Dude, not even the photos can do them justice.

Then, I get family photos from the folks, currently driving through Wyoming on a two-week long adventure up from Phoenix.... Just being able to hop a jet and

escape the idiocy we all deal with sometimes? Talk about benefits. Here's a couple my dad's sent to us all:

I guess I'll clarify a little bit: the folks went out West to visit my siblings in AZ, but opted to rent a car and make a roadtrip out of it. Don't think they'll be back before Labor Day, but man are the photos making me envious!

Yesterday I took a day off, hopped on a few moderately-loaded jets and headed Midwest to see a ballgame. I don't know what got in to my head, but I had wanted to see the Phillies and I had also wanted to get flying. Go figure, I've never been to American Family Field and Milwaukee turned out to be...

Absolutely awesome. Go figure, I risk a trip out, overfly a state I still loathe, and accidentally have an excellent time. I'll tell you though, I never thought I'd miss seeing those Piedmont Dash 8s at Philadelphia, as I transited through F and got in a 145 for the MKE leg. Thing's louder than I recalled the Deuce ever being.

I'm not sure if the cellphone shot's going to have it, but a spotless day like yesterday (well, minus the humidity) on descent into MKE over Lake Michigan can still give you a great view of Chicago. It's still visible, just at the horizon of the lake coastline.

I stumbled across a charming little coffee museum while exploring around Dubai, right across the creek from Deira. It had some cool historical artifacts about the coffee making process as well as a traditional arabic tea room. It was a perfect backdrop to have a delicious cup of arabic coffee

Nice. AF field is one of the nicer of the "modern" ballparks I've been to. It's really well-done.
