Regional airlines new TAs rumor mill

That's pretty sad that a quarter of the pilot group didn't bother to vote.

Does that statistic only include eligible voters?

My union liked to validate their passing of a crappy LoA without a vote by saying that there was a crappy turnout for MEC voting yet a full third of the the total pilot group was ineligible

but don't for one second think that American management is out of the loop on things.

That would be an amazing turnout given my pilot group’s recent history.
I haven't seen an actual vote here other than for LEC reps (weak turnout). Much harder to make an informed vote for a LEC rep when you have no idea who they are or what they believe. With a contract you actually have some ability to compare the new vs old.

Every LOA so far since I have been on property hasn't had an actual pilot vote nor any external input prior to an MEC vote. Not really unexpected from a MEC that hasn't had an all pilot call in 8+ months.

Doesn't look bad
Best of luck to the ExpressJet guys, you deserve it

Ugh. Same BS Inc pulled with us. They don't want to pay rates that would attract new hires, but they want to be able to pay out huge signing bonuses to get people in the door.
They did get the quarterly bonus (not tied to company profit or anything) written in the contract. Straight hourly increase would have been better, but as is it is also a $10FO/$8CA hourly bump to the posted rates.
Is it Endeavour? No. But it isn't recent Air Whiskey/SkyWest/Piedmont either

It’s almost exactly what I thought they would be offered. Some interesting contingencies in that TA as well.

Giving up $40k signing bonuses ensures they will have 0 leverage for years to come.
