JetBlue and ALPA has an AIP!

We are four years into contract at AA and still many items that aren’t implemented.
Long implementation schedules aren't unheard of. Not exactly standard, but not unheard of. If you don't have a long implementation process, then you usually end up with a bunch of grievances over implementation instead, so it's basically half dozen of one, six of the other. Implementing big changes is never easy for large organizations, especially ones as complex as airlines.

Thanks for that info guys.

So I’ve read through section 1 a few times. I love that it eleminates regionals by prohibiting capacity purchase agreements. But I need a little help with the code sharing. Domestically, it says we can codeshare as long as we increase our block hours 3% in the year immediately prior to signing an agreement, and then increase block hours by 1% each year following the agreement. I don’t really like that it now allows us to, for example, use Hawaiian to go to Hawaii and not our own metal. But I understand the pros and cons to it because it increases our traffic. What I’m worried about is the elimination of our EMB-190 flying and replacing it with a codeshare with an airline like Moxy if it gets off the ground. I don’t really see how it would be possible since we’d have to keep increasing our block hours. But there are smarter people than me on this site. Does anyone see a way for them to farm out our small aircraft flying via codeshare?

That’s what I’m seeing too, just want to make sure I’m not missing something.

To clarify, I haven't seen the actual language, but I'd assume that's how it works. Somebody on property can give you a definite answer... or you can ask that question at a road show.
