Denver Pilot removes testicules ....

You guys do understand how a transgender person would be sensitive about the way we're handling the topic, yes?

I'd have to assume most transgendered people would be clever enough not to ask their friend the pilot to castrate them in an apartment.

If this was someone who woke up after a night of too many drinks to find a spent army first aid kit laying around and no satchel to be found the discussion would a much different tone.

There's an ingredient you haven't considered.

To suggest that the removee is a victim is offensive to the Transgender community. It's their body, and their right to determine their future. It's a shame that closed minded individuals like @trafficinsight are so quick to condemn them.

And who better than you to decide what the Transgender Community should and shouldn't find offensive?

Sadly this isn't the first case like this. I remember reading about something similar a few years ago:

http://www.nytimes.com/2011/08/21/n...n-pay-a-high-price-to-look-more-feminine.html

We also don't know the circumstances the victim asked for the surgery under, so it could have been after too many drinks or under similar circumstances. Given the Daily Mail's reputation, I don't think it's hard to imagine they could leave out details or the article could be inaccurate.

At first my thoughts were "WTF? There's a pilot running around performing surgery?" and then my little monkey brain saw the penis angle and thought "LOL", but then I thought, you know what's essentially a completely peculiar article, the person having the operation performed and then the resulting effects of it is potentially in a very precarious place emotionally, physically and potentially socially after the news spread.

I have some transgender friends (and you guys do too, you just don't realize it) so I'm not really sure what I feel about the story to be honest.

Thanks for adding another dimension to the otherwise bizarre story. The thought of a regional airline captain performing surgery was initially really funny, to my pea size brain. I even managed an idiocy reference, huzzah!

However, after considering the desperation and misery caused by not having human rights I now feel like a total jerk. I'm sorry if I offended anyone.

Yacob a dit : 31 comments and no mention of "testicules"?
I didn't bother, as I just figured that's the way pilots spell testicles. :D

I'm Russian and I voted Trump
Nobody seems to care about my feelings over on this thread

On the subject - yes it would be more hilarious if the patient wouldn't be transgender. Transgender, wanted testicles removed by someone with first class medical certification - reasonably funny. Would it be kidneys or liver I'm sure we'd see a different set of memes in here, transgender or not.
