Skywest Questions

Only for typed applicants, unless something has changed. I bring home about $1700 a month as a reserve that never flies, one or two trips will bump that up a couple hundred bucks per paycheck. I think if you go to the CRJ you fly more/get a line sooner.
Say what? I'm a lineholder and I can't bring that home reliably....

I have been hearing rumors of SkyWest purchasing training aircraft to start training cadets.... I'm thinking that is just a fabricated rumor but thought I'd ask on here. If true, what exactly are they planning on doing. Taking people zero to hero within the company. Ratings then CFI until 1500?

There was a posting a while back of a piper registration saying owner SkyWest.

Wait, how do you not bring that home? $1700/month or $1700/paycheck? Something isn't adding up.

Well I guess maybe it's after 401k, insurance, etc. I suppose.

Now that I read it again he was saying per month and I was thinking per paycheck.

Carry on ;)

Yeah I'm easily seeing that a month and I'm still on IOE.

Yeah at 60 hrs a month training pay I am seeing about 900 per paycheck. That's 2x a month.

Beats a sharp stick in the eye.

My net pay on reserve is about 950-1000 a paycheck since I hardly fly. IOE pay was nice though, the pet firm really made a difference in pay.

Because you're fired.

So I tried to log in using the directions for first time log in and it didn't work. Any tricks to sorting this out?

I vaguely remember doing the "forgot your password" thing but honestly can't remember much other than the few times I actually try to use the site I typically end up getting error messages and cannot connect to it and just give up.

Let's merely say the user import process, itself very fragile even when it worked, has been broken for a long while now.

If you're a NHP and you need a document, hit a brother up. I happen to have a lot of PDFs...
