Yeah, this reads as actually being that BOTH of you are set in your ways...
Retired Delta, American, United, Air Force and corporate guys working at *bottom feeding freight company* as direct hire captains. They're just as open-minded as the 300 hour FOs. What I'm getting at is that ego and prejudice doesn't have a flight time or experience threshold.
In other words, I think your argument is non-sense and/or your company is awful at screening people. From what I understand, even the flow-through guys are under an evaluation period and clearly must not be being evaluated very well...
