Publically gripe and complain and give it 110% effort. Then stand by it come interview table time, even double down on it at that time!

Any other method of complaining, just doesn't measure up.

So much at this level is based upon attitude, it's not even funny.

I hope that on the 29th of October the recruiters think, "you're Isaac in person". But then again, biblical stuff, that would mean they would laugh at me. Lose-lose I guess. Same as with beautiful women.

While I agree that venting about the process on social media is probably not a good idea, surely those of you that have opened up your Wonka bar and found the golden ticket can understand where these frustrations manifest themselves. To assume that someone who is venting because of the seemingly never ending series of hoops one has to jump through is not trying "hard enough" is flat out wrong and does not mean that that particular individual is not out there hustling everyday. I know plenty of guys with every box checked, advanced degrees, check airmen, TPIC, letters of recommendation and are all around decent people etc. who can not get a call and yet watch others disappear from the seniority list every month with a lesser amount of boxes checked, many with multiple offers. Add in this little gem about supermarket clerks and baggage handlers, http://www.bloomberg.com/news/artic...pit-jetblue-s-raw-pilot-recruits-move-forward one should surely be able to undersatand why many are at the end of their ropes. It's easy to quip about career "Darwinism" when you are inside looking out but until you have walked in another man's shoes one should temper their judgement. Empathy is a wonderful thing and the world would be a better place if there was more in it.

One of these days some regional pilot, who is frustrated at seeing lesser qualified, lower time pilots getting on with the majors and legacies, is going to go Postal and take out the entire job fair.
 
You know what I don't understand...for those of you or the examples of disgruntled people out there griping it about it being unfair...why not enlist the help of others that might be on Facebook when those spots open up to sign you up if they are able to? I knew someone that was interested in attending, just happened to open up my laptop a minute after they posted the link and got them registered. Easy. Now, I feel like the Godfather. :p

Probably falls under the category of...in poor taste, subcategory of things that should never be joked about. It's not a million dollars or a guaranteed job. People need to chill.
