Delta Negotiations Update

I had a day trap into LGA once in a light DC-9-50. Thought I was floating, wiped the power, and, as they say, those jokes write themselves.

Made the midfield turnoff and was all like "derp, why'd all the clocks stop?"

All I can say is FADEC and good brakes are kicketty assitty.

On the DC9-Next(next) Gen the brakes kind of suck. The buckets are pretty good though. At least with the FADEC you can pop them open all the way, right away and not worry about spool. You can always tell which guys were on the -9 because they open them, wait a few second and then move the handles back.

After some great thought and serious soul searching....I've decided to run for MEC Chairman.







Nah, just kidding. Just wanted to see the reaction and the howls of dismay.

Haha, yep, I am.....Maybe I caused a great disturbance in the Force. It was as if millions of voices cried out in terror, and then were suddenly silent...ok, maybe it was just a couple dozen voices, but heh, you don't mess with someone who really knows how to use a lightsaber...or at least knows what the color of the blade means.

I had to like this, mainly for the Star Wars references. I would wield, blue lightsaber!

If the current MEC Chairman doesn't run again I'll start a grassroots movement for the return of Lee Moak
