Free in-house Delta Pilot Job Fair

Whomever is running the Delta registration needs to be fired. Very poor taste. Round two opened at 0520 west coast time. How can you plan for something like this? I'm very disappointed in Delta for running such a stampede. They should have announced the times so people could plan accordingly.

You can't please everyone. Remember, this is free and you are welcome to attend the traditional recruiting events that are not that give notice. Doing it this way made it fair and I think Delta should be commended for doing this, not insulted. It was great to offer it one day, amazing to offer it two.

Well, this was certainly the worst post in the thread. I'd probably check that attitude if I were you. You realize HQ is in.... ATL, right? So, they opened it around 8 AM eastern... for a free job fair ...

They don't want west coast types. Stick to southwest brah. Also, my complaint is football weekends?! Why couldn't this be in the middle of February.

Once Delta comes to their senses and shows up at your door (at a reasonable hour of course!) to offer you a job on bended knee, along with a Letter of Apology for their disgraceful free job fair practices, hopefully you'll never have a show time that early.

It is. A little birdy says that it will be quarterly and if you've already attended in the last year, there's no advantage to return within that year.

The little birdy says, "Just because we haven't called, doesn't mean we're not, we just haven't called you YET".

These aren't points-based systems where "Oh, you missed a career fair, you're not showing motivation" like some other carriers.

It's been mentioned, but Delta operates on World Bubba Time, which is incidentally the same as East Coast Time. Everything centers on ATL. You want to work here, you better learn that the is the only time that matters.

It happens. In fact, it's already happened a few times today I hear on another platform. :/

You shouldn't publicly bitch at a cheerleader at the homecoming game and then ask her to dance later on and expect a good result. It just doesn't work that way.
