Southwest To Lower Minimums?

Not too long ago, it was a 1 or 2 year wait for MCO.

But I started training January 20, and two guys from my class are in MCO starting June 1st.

So currently, the wait is a few months. Hope this helps.

Yes sir. It helps immensely. thank you. I was assuming it was going to be years.

Still 20 year upgrade? :D

Yup, but so was USAir in 1999. Ended up being half that (on the E190) and you guys were falling all over yourselves to get hired there in the late 2000s...

20 years predicated on zero growth and age 65 retirements only. I'm no oracle but I'd be hard pressed to believe that the growth rate for a company that has only started flying to Mexico and the Caribbean will have a 0% growth rate for two decades... Lots of uncharted territory out there.

Any update of SW reducing or getting rid of that pesky TPIC req.?

I suspect it'll be gone by the end of the year. They're struggling to fill classes. Lots of no shows and cancellations and folks being called early to move up class dates. Seems like for military guys it's about as close to a sure thing as you can get. Civilians still have to work a bit to get in the door
