Frontier pilots voted in favor of ALPA.
AWESOME JOB!
WELCOME!
so do you have to run for rep again? or does it carry over?Frontier pilots voted in favor of ALPA.
Don't quote me on this but I believe they are the temporary reps until an official ALPA LEC vote occurs.so do you have to run for rep again? or does it carry over?
Easier seniority integration with Spirit. Why did Frontier vote to become ALPA?

Why did Frontier vote to become ALPA?
scabs.
I'll bring up this sorta dead thread. I updated my app and got a call from Frontier, as I see they are trying to hire a lot of folks. Just a "lets talk, why not?" voicemail (I was flying) and it's an interesting thought. What's the current consensus among Frontier guys and gals on coming to Frontier, should it be offered? I'll come interview if asked, always a good skill to practice and not a strong suit of mine.
I'm OK with my Dash captain position at my current regional (Commutair) and halfway to 1000 TPIC with 6000 TT. I should be on the 145 as captain early next year at C5. The money at Frontier isn't good, but isn't a total deterrent either. And never knowing how this world will go, I'd let to get at least out of the regionals to an LCC or major. Frontier still seems like more of a career gamble than Spirit or even Allegiant.
Just trying to get a feel from folks there. Thanks!
so you think it's ok to scab? Got it.(Largely) for the same reason Virgin did: the inevitable merger with an ALPA carrier.
They valued their future. And today they are sitting left seat of a 777 at EWR. Or retired after sitting left seat of a 777 in EWR. No penalty for them whatsoever. They flourished (relatively speaking) in their careers.
