Smart man! I don't know much about Senecas but I'll throw out a recommendation for a 55 Baron. They're fast, not ugly, most have boots and hot props/ alcohol windshield and you can pick up a nice one for around 100k.
Definitely look at Barons, but I'll disagree that most 55s have deice gear.
There are two basic versions of the short bodied Baron, the A/B55 and C/D/E 55. The B55s tend to have a lower overall equipment level...and deice and radar gear on them runs 50/50.
C/D/E 55s have the IO-520s in them and a longer nose, bigger tail, and have a seriously large useful load (1800-1900 lbs). You tend to see a higher level of gear on them. Later model Es are pretty prized, but the Colemil President conversion on B55s is pretty badass too (replaces the 470s with 520s/550s).
It's far easier to find a 58 (long bodied Baron...same cabin as the A/B/G36) with radar and deice. A good number of them are FIKI and have AC as well (no factory AC on B55s, and pretty rare on Es).
And if anyone cares, there is the long bodied P-Baron (310/325 hp), the 58TC (basically the P-Baron without the P) and the Mac Daddy, the 56TC, which is short bodied Baron with the 380hp Duke engines (only those with their own refinery need apply).
You can spot FIKI birds because they may have inboard boots, but all have hot props and windshield. The hot plate for the WS is crazy expensive to replace.
