LGA Expressway Visual Appr Plate Help

Hey I know that some companies, such as Delta, have a procedure that has custom waypoints for the Expressway Visual. If any of you have this plate could you please post it here? My Jepps only have a dotted line after the White Tanks at 2500' and I'd really like to see the official plate. I have the waypoints pencilled in, something like JB160 or something weird like that. Somehow, even though our plates doesn't show them, when I type the Delta waypoint codes into the FMS4.2 it works. Strange.

1.) It's each airlines own procedure with their own database.
2.) It's a visual approach, look outside.
3.) if you absolutely have to fly a magenta line, place/bearing/distance.

As it has been mentioned, it is an in house approach that each individual airline and specific fleet types within that airline.

The waypoints in my database might not be in your database, or even Delta's database.

Our charts are even updated more often that the regular chart for the Expressway Visual Rwy 31. We recently had a changes to accommodate the increased glidepath angle and the crane that was put up 1.5 miles east of the runway 31 threshold.

It's a visual approach. Unless you have approved charts for your airline and your fleet type... treat it is such.

Whatever you do, just don't fly the whole thing with the A/P. HDG 10 degrees, V/S -700, HDG another 10 degrees, V/S -500, gear down, V/S -700..

Depends on the equipment.

Let the autopilot do the heavy lifting.

Then again, I have one of those fancy procedures the OP is looking for. :D

Or, alternatively if you don't feel comfortable doing a visual approach in an unfamiliar area, don't accept one. Ain't no way this hillbilly could do a visual on the east coast.
I'm not sure how that would go over in LGA... Plus if you can't fly one from the "tanks" you shouldn't be in an airliner. Not sure if you have ever been to LGA, but you are pointing right at the airport initially. You can't lose it.

Not everybody flies an airliner. And a lot of pilots don't go to the same 15 airports for our career. Sometimes, there are pilots that look for guidance for unfamiliar airports because they are paid to go to different airports throughout their careers.

Just my opinion out of the little I've read here...

Edit: Ok, I read the OP's profile and he does fly an airliner, so fair point. Never mind. :confused2::cool:

Fine a jet of some sort. It's also a published procedure, some companies just publish a little more. Look up this approach, it's not difficult.

Well if that's the case, why would a guy need waypoints in between the tanks and the airport? More to the point (and also more the point I was trying to make), if you need points in a box to execute a visual, probably best to not accept said visual.

No, I have never flown into LGA. Are there no airlines over there that don't allow visuals? Esspecially at night? I see and hear Korean and Asiana going into ANC on the ILS when Denali is clearly visible from Homer.

Eh, I haven't flown in the US for hire in over 7 years. I'm not worried about it. I'm just saying there are more productive ways this thread could have gone.

However, we do have points in a box and are encouraged to use the automation on this and other charted visual approaches where we have an RNAV overlay.
