Delta drivers?

Ok...I didn't look that hard. :p

I'm certainly not agains the practice of filming/photos. But in terms of career TEM, I'm hesitant to throw stuff on the inter webs.

That's because the kind of videos you take would end up in the back corner of a video store... behind the curtain.

Sure, why not? For the most part if it's your leg, I'll offer.

On the 330, if its your leg, a lot of guys give you the jet soup-to-nuts after the checklists are run.

I overhead a discussion about that in the crewroom the other day. A captain was saying that he'd let the FO taxi just as soon as the FAA would go after the FO and not him if the guy taxied in to something. Ah yes... good old CRM version 1 or maybe 2.

FOM says to turn them on. So ya know what? I turn them on. Even if the runway is closed. Just a habit. Not that an airplane has EVER landed on a closed runway.
Of course along with Derg I'm human and sometimes forget to turn them off until someone reminds me.
I guess it didn't kill you when I forgot since you're around to post.

I'm not singling anyone out. If it says to do it in your manuals then you are stuck doing it. That doesn't mean I can't think it's dumb.

The butt hurt is strong with this one.

Relax man. Pull up a chair, grab a beer, and quit being a weenie. We're not like that around here.

Not like what? RJ pilots who have it all figured out and think lecturing Delta pilots on a web board is going to solve the worlds problems, and then have the audacity to act surprised when somebody begs to differ? Got it. Good luck with all of that.

Totally relaxed, turn my lights off when not moving, turn them on when moving. Sorry RJ guys, you'll have to find a way to press through it. Perhaps you will have more luck if you start a thread to Delta management about how you want a lights on policy change..........

I wish I had the time for 12,000 more posts, but it just ain't gonna happen.

Well something made you post six times today and none the in the previous five years since you joined. What was it? You could introduce yourself, and say what's up. You've been standing in the corner of @Derg living room for five years without a peep and today you decide to jump in with both feet? Please, say hi, let us know your background.

Welcome to JetCareers. We endeavor to not be asses, with varying success depending on the amount of blood in our whiskey stream. ATN_pilot and I disagree often. Seggy and I disagree more. But most of the time we keep it civil.

Enjoy!

I'll vouch for brakechatter as I know him outside forum world, though mostly in passing. Very good guy, good pilot, and a pilots advocate.
