I thought it was you couldn't put pee in the frig, or something like that.MarkE said:Just don't pee in the kiddie pool. That will get you on some sort of list...so I'm told.
Typically I'll turn on the turnoff and wing inspection lights crossing the road into the ramp then go back to normal after crossing the roadway.
I thought they fixed the glitch???Autothrust Blue said:I can't even jumpseat on the things, much less get hired to operate it!![]()
Turning into the ramp in ATL is when I want most to be lit up... that's far more potential for a collision there with the crazy tug and bus drivers whizzing by on that roadway. Typically I'll turn on the turnoff and wing inspection lights crossing the road into the ramp then go back to normal after crossing the roadway.
Some of you need to take s chill pill and stop sweating the little stuff.
Someone with their lights on? We'll make this work. Rampers watching the game instead of parking me? I'm annoyed and will fill out an IOR, but hey, the sun will rise tomorrow. No need to lose your mind.
Headwind greater than forecast, change in arrival to DTW, fuel now an issue? Ok, time to start sweating a little.
Wait... FO's are ACTUALLY allowed to touch the lights!?!?
Yup! If I'm taxiing, I have the landing lights extended as well... that way they are ready to go if someone needs a little extra nudging that we're there.
Wait... FO's are ACTUALLY allowed to touch the lights!?!?
You know that we can't see the lights from outside the simulator, right?![]()
It's more than an annoyance. After seeing a landing light light up the cockpit, night vision is completely destroyed.
Only night time video from a CRJ that someone was dumb enough to post on the youtube.
So your brakes were inoperative and you could not stop? It's more than an annoyance. After seeing a landing light light up the cockpit, night vision is completely destroyed.
I fully agree. But stopped on Mike.
Wait... FO's are ACTUALLY allowed to touch the lights!?!?
I do during the after landing checklist, and when the PNF.Wait... FO's are ACTUALLY allowed to touch the lights!?!?
Delta FO's taxi the bus?
For us....that would go over like a turd in the punch bowl in DFW.
Aroo?
EDIT... Dumb enough? Wait a minute, I resemble that remark.
