Delta TA

Ehh, maybe he's partly right. The animosity is by maybe 35-40% of the group, making 100% of the noise. Probably close to 40-45% of the senior folks can't even tell you what RJDC was.

This.

About the only time I've heard the words "Comair" or "RJDC" after Comair's shutdown was, well, right here on the forum.

I don't think it's a stretch to say that at every mainline airline there was a percentage of animosity towards RJ airlines during the last decade when things were going backwards.

More importantly once this TA passes delta is about to add 50-100 100 seat airplanes. WOW.

No, I fully understand the assertion, but from personal experience, we're really not sitting around talking about Comair and whatever regional is hiring street captains. I'll bet you a dollar the average mid-seniority Southernjetter doesn't know Endeavor from Eagle from Envoy.

Hell, I run the website and I can't keep up.

Do you think if the TA didn't pass, or didn't include that . . . that they wouldn't add 100 seat jets?

So long as the pilot is following his directives, he/she is being prefessional.
And here I thought "prefessional" was that funny, nervous feeling I get just before having to go see the priest or the CP.

Why would you guys care about the above? It's like worrying or discussing what civil war is going on in what little no-name craphole across the globe, to many, I would think.

Does this TA complete pay restroation?

Does this TA complete pay restroation?

Hoooo! Thanks, I needs a good laugh. Good thing I had finished this taco before I read that! No. No it does NOT complete pay restoration. It gets nowhere near it. We've had a permanent reset. C2K pay restoration is a pipe dream.

I know that everyone keeps saying stuff like this. But somehow I doubt that SKYW and others Super regionals are just silently going to go into chapter 7. Even before the advent of CRJ-200 regionals have always been around, albeit far smaller. If anything I'd say it would be the return of large turboprops.

That's exactly the point -- to have regionals return to being "regional", rather than "outsourced routes that mainline used to fly".

Sorry to hear that. Was just wondering if things have gotten back to where they were, or close to it. To where it could be called a pay raise once again, versus a pay restoration.

"...and I voted NO."

I mean the money looks good and all, but as an outsider looking in, why would you accept the concessions with JV, and fund your small pay raise with a reduction in profit sharing in this environment??
