Mesa Airlines

I sure am glad I don't have to buy my own EFB.

What surprises me about individuals buying their own EFBs is not that a company would want to make yet another cost somebody else's burden, but rather the legality of the situation.
Everywhere I've worked, and everywhere I've heard of before this thread required company provided / company configured EFBs for compliance. There has always been something in either the OpSpec or GOM that specified a very rigorously sparse configuration with requirements for external batteries, etc. Is this no longer the case?

100% agree. However do you think this junior high locker room type banter is the best way to inform people of these things?
And just what kind of banter do you suspect managements engage in when talking about employees? That said, I do respect your inclination towards the high road.

When you guys mentioned G35 back earlier, you guys took me back to the day when I owned one. I attached a pic. Had to give it up when the family started growing. :(

You're right, it's a compliance nightmare.

That upgrade, tho'. :sarcasm:

Screw that! I don't know your situation, but if you had two cars, the wife would be the one to drive the responsible family car/minivan/SUV. And we went somewhere as a family, we'd go in that car. I'd never trade my two door sporty car for kids. But that's just me! :)

I believe he was talking about a BMW, not a Mercedes

I'll agree with that.

As a car guy nothing drives me more crazy than seeing an amazing piece of machinery like an AMG Mercedes going 15 below the speed limit with the blinker on for 5 miles.

Actually they are both great cars. I'm mostly just teasing. I'd own a 1, 2, or 3 series in a heartbeat. The bigger ones don't resally get me all hot and bothered unless it's got an M in the name. When I see big cars I just see extra mass that needs dealing with.

You are right in one aspect but I guess in the long run there was a benefit. I was able to get a new toy :).

One of my co-workers has a white M1.
