When will you guys quit squabbling over toy cars and get a real driving machine?
I sure am glad I don't have to buy my own EFB.
And just what kind of banter do you suspect managements engage in when talking about employees? That said, I do respect your inclination towards the high road.100% agree. However do you think this junior high locker room type banter is the best way to inform people of these things?

Haven't messed with it enough to really tell though.
Sounds like a chore.
That's what she said?
I'll drive an old man car when I'm an old man.![]()
Where does a Volvo fall in this thought process?Trip7 said:I believe he was talking about a BMW, not a Mercedes
You're right, it's a compliance nightmare. What surprises me about individuals buying their own EFBs is not that a company would want to make yet another cost somebody else's burden, but rather the legality of the situation.
Everywhere I've worked, and everywhere I've heard of before this thread required company provided / company configured EFBs for compliance. There has always been something in either the OpSpec or GOM that specified a very rigorously sparse configuration with requirements for external batteries, etc. Is this no longer the case?

When you guys mentioned G35 back earlier, you guys took me back to the day when I owned one. I attached a pic. Had to give it up when the family started growing.![]()

As a car guy nothing drives me more crazy than seeing an amazing piece of machinery like an AMG Mercedes going 15 below the speed limit with the blinker on for 5 miles.
Screw that! I don't know your situation, but if you had two cars, the wife would be the one to drive the responsible family car/minivan/SUV. And we went somewhere as a family, we'd go in that car. I'd never trade my two door sporty car for kids. But that's just me!![]()
I'll agree with that.

Actually they are both great cars. I'm mostly just teasing. I'd own a 1, 2, or 3 series in a heartbeat. The bigger ones don't resally get me all hot and bothered unless it's got an M in the name. When I see big cars I just see extra mass that needs dealing with.

M4 is my new love. But, I'm a big body car guy now and when the 535 finally reaches its limit I hope to be in a position to snag a 750Li
