Back in May they posted it early afternoon on a Wed and it was still up in the late afternoon on Fri. Who knows how they'll handle it this time around but here's a comment from the thread back in May as to why it was up for so long.....

....."they" realized that the app system was flawed as it shouldn't just "fill up" at a number, "but allow everyone to apply within a reasonable time. that way the "best" applicants have a chance to apply, not just the lucky "window scorers".....

Nevertheless, apply at first sight!!

Yes, I think this thread was based on an assumption that "After the holiday" meant thanksgiving. It could have meant Christmas, or even New Years for that matter. Or Easter. LOL.
