LogTen Pro X

If mccpilotlog is going to be able to login and update itself from my schedule automatically, and Log Ten can't, then I can tell you that log ten won't be getting a dime of my money.

More money requires more services.

so far i am very happy with mccpilotlog.
Just waiting for the mac release so i can use my mac book pro. Need to do the updated on my PC at work now.
But i love the idea of being able to use any platform. Even my crappy windows phone works

LogTen could get the same info from the website. I don't give the app a pass mainly because it is well overdue for a overhaul. I don't know how to program but I'm getting to the point of learning how out of frustration for apps that don't work. Or issues like LogTen.

Safelog was one, I forgot what the other was. I bought Logten a few years ago, and have upgraded to the latest release since. I have had to pay annually regardless. I can also tell everyone that so far, LogTen X is flawless. It syncs with iCloud flawlessly between devices, and the fly now feature works great. For those who don't know, the old LogTen WILL NOT sync to iCloud drive. So if you updated your iOS software to iOS 8 and selected iCloud drive, that is why it no longer syncs to iCloud. I have no idea if they have plans to update the previous software, I would think that they will.

I have never had luck with the "customer service". I imported a excel spread with there service and it came back all screwed up, they were no help.

I had just the opposite. I converted from Safelog. I sent them my xls file, they corrected some errors, and I imported it without issue. They were very helpful to me.

Apple changed from iCloud to iCloud Drive, which is a different cloud syncing system. Apps that were not updated to support iCloud Drive were broken from cloud syncing for those that updated to iOS 8 and OSX Yosemite. I fail to see how the guy is a con.. LTP 6 has been out for years, and they decided to release a new version to coincide with the release of iOS 8 and Yosemite.

I've heard the switch from iCloud to iCloud drive is a simple one, then just recompile and resubmit to Apple for the update.

I wonder why Coradine pulled their Facebook page down.
 
Ok, someone please clarify this for me. I have LogTen Pro 6.5.1

1. I will not have to pay for its use, unless I were to upgrade to LogTen X
2. Will upgrading to OS X Yosemite make 6.5.1 useless?
 
Same question as @skypilot6 I am hesitant to upgrade to Yosemite. And as I understand it we can keep using version 6, but there's no support for it.

So the wifi sync still works? If so I'll upgrade to Yosemite.

On another note, I am so happy to see that he is so unhappy about how things are going, he took down the Facebook page. Excellent work guys! With all the bad press left on the Apple Store and the various forums, I'm sure that'll put a drag on his sales. Quite frankly, he deserves it. He has a great product, but he has become more greedy than ever and that is about to catch up to him.
