Where did he say anything about backing Hamas? He is stating the numbers and they are what they are. All your talk of rockets and terror, you've had 1 Israel dead so far in the recent conflict. In exchange, the IDF has obliterated 250+ people and a majority of them were civilians and a scary amount were women and children. The boys on the beach was just pure murder. There was no Hamas guy in a banana hammock at the beach. I hear this tunnels thing as well. So, how many Israelis have died? 0. "Protect their people" sure you can protect them. But when you build what the rest of the world (in some cases, even the USA!) defines as "illegal settlements" on lands that are questionable, then yeah you may make enemies. If Cuba launched rockets at us? Why? They have no reason to. We haven't invaded Cuba (well not recently anyway). We haven't built illegal settlements in Cuba. If Cuba was launching rockets, I'd push for an individual hunt-down of those involved. Are they putting human shields on the roof? Time for a building sweep, floor by floor, picking ONLY the terrorists. What's the point of blowing the building to kill a few terrorists when you kill MANY more civilian women and children? The answer is easy, to them, one Israeli life is avenged with 200 Palestinians. Period. The last invasion (both cause and effect) killed about 50-60 Israelis and over 1200 Palestinians. The kill ratio is far higher with IDF and they don't care. It's far easier for them to lob missiles and use Apaches and tanks to carry out their Zionist schemes and expand settlements with my tax money and you know what? I'm not okay with that. I don't think God gave you ANY land. The land is there before humans were.

Besides the Cuba thing isn't even an accurate comparison. It would be more accurate to say if tomorrow the Native Indians started attacking us. And yes they already live in what we call the continental USA. The Israeli situation is similar. Look up zionism expansion. I'm surprised any sane individual would actually support a movement like that.

Also, there's Israel plus the USA, and then there's the rest of the world who condemn what they do. Do you think Britain, France, Netherlands, Germany, China, Japan, Australia are all "crazy"? Every time they issue an action or item it is always vetoed by solely one member: the USA. Isn't it time to really sit down and say if every single country (except the USA) is saying something is wrong then maybe indeed something is wrong? Enough of the vetoes.

Then why does Hamas still fire rockets during a ceasefire? Israel didn't shoot once during it. The whole point of the ceasefire was to bring in humanitarian aid. SUPPLIED BY ISRAEL.

Who mentioned gas prices? I mean, after all we are the worlds largest producer.

Me, I'm sick of going over there ad a country to " restore peace" just to have it erupt as soon as we turn our back, before we have even really left the building. Let them figure it out. Call us when you're done.

It's none of my business if they all die. It's theirs. Let them handle it. If it bothers you that bad, see what you can do about sending them aid.

I hope since we declared a "war on terror" you will be this apathetic when another 9/11 happens. I bet when a bunch of kids die because of it, you will be like "meh, it's war"

Because, in our, er, Zeitgeist or whatever, it's all Ours, anway. But there's never enough.
