If you think I'm going to take a spill climbing up and down a ladder one-handed because some JCer says I can't wear a backpack, you're sorely mistaken! It might be difficult to believe, but not everyone strolls down to the airplane via a jetway.

I used to commute on UPS constantly. I walked up those rickety stairs with their crews countless times. Can't remember seeing one of them carry a backpack. And I certainly made it up the stairs just fine carrying my stuff.

Why would you expect someone to stop you and say something to you in person? As unprofessional as a backpack is, starting a fight in the terminal is even more unprofessional.

Missing that one! Used this beast until my current job. Between the ladder (to the upper deck of the jet I have 5700 hours deadheading on for 2.85:1 credit... Thanks OBAMA!), and long strolls through airports in civilian clothes sans-roller on commercial deadheads, the backpack was the clear choice. #runonsentencesftw #RUSHsuperfan
