Game on in Seattle...Delta v. AS

Well, Delta and Alaska were goin' steady. And then American started calling and when Delta wanted to go to the movies, well, American already had plans with Alaska. Now this foreigner with the cool hair and all the loot wants to take Alaska out to a steak dinner and Delta doesn't feel so special any more.

Almost…

Jilted.

Raaawr.

No jet can compete with a Q on the SEA-PDX route. 4x the fuel and 30 seconds faster! YAY!

I think reliability will be similar, Horizon has theirs up pretty high. The upside for Delta will be first class available which is a new service. And maybe the 1 in 100 people that would prefer a jet enough to pay more or switch frequent flyer plans. Horizon's upsides are long-time customers, high-mileage customers, free beer, and the experience doing these flights as a shuttle service for years.
