If an airport knows a tornado or hail is likely to happen, do they try and get most of the planes off the ground even w/o pax to protect them? Or is it cheaper to just deal with whatever damage happens to them on the ground?
Got it, thanks. Just wondering haBy the time you've determined the tornado will hit the airport, It would be extremely dangerous to put 100 airplanes near it. Additionally, the airspace would be so saturated that you may get 20% of the airplanes airborne before the tornado.
Put it in the garage! And that storm is heading on its way to where I live...my poor car.
Sorry, you are SOL.No garage I live in an apartment
